The aim of the online interactive public art event was to picture the beauty of social and cultural differences within a nation, in order to draw attention to the acceptance of differences between people. During the game one can become part of a world where each person is a flower, a different flower depending on the nationalities within his or her families. In Hungary not one family is purely Hungarian. We can find German, Slovak, Turkish, Romanian etc. ancestors in everyone’s’ family. In this sense Hungarians are a mixture of nationalities and the flowers show this in a very beautiful way. The message of the ‘flower world’ is that the world is so much more beautiful due to all these differences. The game was tested in elementary schools in Budapest as part of learning about accepting our differences and being open to each other.
